Articles, testimonials, events… “Le Plaidoyer” brings together all our initiatives aimed at bringing different stakeholders closer together and working together to envision an industry ready to meet the challenges it faces.
Our first project is called Floribalyse: carried out in partnership with Ademe and Astredhor, it will enable us to calculate the environmental impact of flowers produced in France and find solutions to optimize production processes!

How does flower delivery work on Sessile?
Ordering flowers on Sessile.fr couldn’t be easier! Enter a delivery address to see which florists in the network deliver to that location. Next, choose your florist, then your bouquet, which you can customize: occasion, predominant flower color, message to include… Sessile lets you send unique, tailor-made bouquets. Once your order is finalized, your florist will carefully prepare your floral arrangement and deliver it in person to the recipient on the specified date and within the selected time slot.
How soon can I have flowers delivered through your website?
On Sessile.fr, you order your flowers directly from a local florist. As a result, there’s no standard delivery time: it all depends on the florist you choose and the city where your bouquet will be delivered. Generally speaking, however, delivery within 24 hours is possible. Florists that offer this service are marked with the phrase“Express delivery available!” By entering the shipping address above, you can also easily filter florists based on the date you’d like your flowers delivered.
Can I choose a specific date and time for the flowers to be delivered?
Of course! Being able to choose the delivery date for your bouquet is essential for a birthday, Valentine’s Day, a wedding, or—unfortunately, at times—a funeral. As for delivery times, each Sessile.fr florist offers delivery slots based on their availability. You can view the available time slots, day by day, directly on your favorite florist’s online store. When placing your order, we’ll ask you to specify your preferred time slots for that day. You can then select a specific time, but it’s best to provide a time range, as this gives the florist more flexibility to ensure a successful in-person delivery.
Is it possible to buy flowers online and have them delivered the same day?
Sessile.fr lets you buy a bouquet of flowers from a local florist in just a few clicks. As a result, delivery times depend on the availability of the shop where you place your order. Most of our florists offer same-day delivery, sometimes even within a few hours. To check, simply enter a shipping address above, then filter the florists by delivery date. And if no shop can deliver your flowers today, you’ll most likely find an option for next-day delivery.
Do you offer home delivery of flower bouquets on Sundays and holidays?
Yes, as long as the florist you’re ordering your bouquet from is open and offers home delivery on that day. Many of our florists are open and deliver flowers on Sundays, and some even operate 7 days a week. On Mother’s Day and Grandmother’s Day—which fall on a Sunday every year—the chances are even better: nearly all Sessile.fr florists allow you to send flowers to your mom and grandma on those days. For holidays, it’s more or less the same: it all depends on the florist and their hours, with availability often higher on dates with high demand, such as May 1 or All Saints’ Day.
Can I order flowers on Sessile.fr and have them delivered as a surprise?
Of course! Enter the address of the lucky recipient, choose a delivery date and a time slot, and you’re all set. When finalizing your order, you can provide “additional information”: this is the perfect place to specify that it’s a surprise, share a door code, a delivery instruction, or any other useful details. You’ll also be asked for the recipient’s phone number so the florist can contact them. Don’t worry: they’ll only use it if necessary—for example, if no one is at the specified address at the time of delivery.
Can my bouquet be delivered somewhere other than my home, such as to my office?
The answer is still yes! As long as you provide us with a specific address, your florist can deliver your bouquet to a location other than your home or that of a loved one. To an office, ahospital, a hotel, or even a cemetery: you choose where your flowers will be delivered. To ensure a smooth delivery, be sure to provide as many details as possible in the “additional information” field (floor, department, room number, access, etc.), and make sure to fill in the requested phone numbers correctly.
I'd like to pick up my bouquet directly from the florist. Is that okay?
Yes, and to be honest, this is an option that many of you prefer. All Sessile.fr florists offer click & collect. Picking up your bouquet in-store couldn’t be easier: just select the “in-store pickup” option when you finalize your online order. Good news: with click & collect, delivery fees are waived, allowing youto buy flowers at a lower cost. It’s also the perfect opportunity to meet your local florist.
What if I'd rather buy my flowers from a florist near where I am?
Our website is designed to make it easy for you to buy flowers from a local florist directly online. But you can also use it to find a florist near you. Through the Sessile.fr online store, you can check their hours, read reviews, explore their floral creations, admire their most beautiful arrangements… and, of course, find their address. This is especially handy if you’re looking for a florist that’s open right now, later today, or on a specific date (a Sunday or Monday, for example). And if you’d still rather shop in person, all you have to do is stop by the shop.
To which cities in France can I have flowers delivered?
We deliver your flowers anywhere that at least one Sessile.fr artisan florist offers home delivery, whether in metropolitan France or in the French overseas departments and territories (DOM-TOM). To find out if the location where you’d like to send a bouquet is served, the easiest way is to enter a shipping address above. You’ll then have direct access to a list of florists available for delivery in that area. In major cities (Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Toulouse, Nice, Nantes, Montpellier, Strasbourg, Bordeaux, Lille), you’ll have many options to choose from.
Can I order a bouquet from abroad for delivery in France?
Of course—and that’s one of the main benefits of ordering flowers online! No matter where you are in the world, you can order your flowers on Sessile.fr and have a beautiful bouquet delivered anywhere in France. That’s right! Sessile.fr now lets you order beautiful bouquets of seasonal flowers from a local florist and have them delivered in France… as well as in Belgium and Luxembourg. We’re doing everything we can to offer you the same experience in new countries as soon as possible.
What are your shipping rates? Do you offer free flower delivery?
On Sessile.fr, florists set their own delivery rates for each of the towns they serve. Our goal is to put the florist back at the heart of online flower shopping and give them the greatest possible freedom in how they operate. To find out the shipping cost for your flowers, the easiest way is to enter the recipient’s address above. You’ll then be able to view a list of florists who can deliver your bouquet to that area, along with their prices. Our florists do their best to offer the most affordable flower delivery possible, with some even offering free delivery in towns near their shops.
Are the flowers from your florists eco-friendly?
