If you’re passing through Saint-Geoire-en-Valdaine, we highly recommend stopping by Au fil des pétales, a charming flower shop tucked away in this corner of the Isère department. Gabrielle, the owner, has had a deep passion for all things related to plants since she was a child.
Over the years, just as petals fall, she has been able to share her world with her very loyal clientele, with whom she has forged close friendships. What she loves most about her job is sharing in all the events of her clients’ lives—whether joyful, festive, or more somber.
"Au fil des pétales" is, above all, a place where the charm of the past blends with vintage furniture (chests of drawers, bookcases, coffee table) and repurposed pieces (such as an old sewing machine stand turned into a serving cart), along with wood paneling on some walls, all designed to offer a warm welcome to customers who enjoy dropping by unannounced to take a moment to recharge surrounded by plants and flowers.
In this traditional setting, it’s the bouquets that add a touch of modernity. Gabrielle is a professional artisan florist who isn’t afraid to take stylistic risks when it comes to satisfying her customers. All of her bouquets are made with fresh, seasonal flowers and are perfect for all of life’s most special occasions.
Gabrielle also enjoys sharing her knowledge and expertise during floral workshops held at the boutique’s studio. These workshops take place throughout the year, offering a unique experience that varies with the seasons and new arrivals.
Au fil des pétales primarily delivers its bouquets to Saint-Geoire-en-Valdaine, Massieu, and Saint-Bueil. All bouquets available in the online store can be delivered.
You can have these arrangements delivered wherever you need them—whether to your home, a nursing home, or a funeral home. Delivery is available every day of the week except Monday. The shop can deliver your order the same day if the flowers you want are in stock.
