A florist in Dour, Belgium
Christophe’s love affair with the plant world dates back to his teenage years, when he enrolled in a horticultural school housed in a former castle. It was during this training that he learned about landscaping, arboriculture, horticultural mechanics, and floral design.
In 1993, he purchased a dilapidated building in Dour, which he completely renovated to turn it into his own little floral paradise: Baccara was born! With the help of his mother and family in the shop, Christophe welcomes you year-round to create the seasonal flower bouquets of your dreams!

Baccara offers an atmosphere that is both rustic and modern in a unique setting: the red brick walls contrast with the designer pieces that make up the decor. It is in this extraordinary setting that Baccara’s flowers and plants have the opportunity to showcase the full extent of their beauty.
When it comes to floral arrangements, Christophe has a particular fondness for sleek, modern bouquets that you don’t usually see elsewhere. The shop also helps you create stunning floral decorations for the most memorable celebrations of your life, whether it’s a wedding or a professional event.

If you fall in love with one of Baccara’s many seasonal flower arrangements, you won’t leave the shop without receiving care instructions tailored to the flowers you’ve chosen.
However, there are a few simple tips you can follow to help extend the life of your flowers by a few days: first, make sure the water in the vase is always clean, and change it about every two days. You can trim the stems at the same time using a knife or pruning shears.
