Let's start with a bit of history! In 1949, Hélène and Edouard Kammerer opened a small flower shop in Illkirch-Graffenstaden. While Edouard grew the flowers, Hélène turned them into stunning arrangements.
Then, in the 1970s, it was their daughter Edith’s turn to take over the business, driven by the same passion as her parents. And she was successful, winning third place in the French Florists’ Cup in 1974.
Finally, it was his daughters—Anne-Laure, a master florist, and Esther, who oversees the business side—who answered the call of plants in 1998. As they themselves put it: “Our grandparents and parents passed down to us a passion for flowers and plants, a love of a job well done, attention to detail, and craftsmanship… Not to mention our commitment to high-quality products! ”
Kammerer takes a firm stance on two points. First, all bouquets are crafted with patience and expertise to carry on the family tradition. The window displays are constantly changing—they are updated every three weeks and draw inspiration from the rhythm of the seasons and holidays.
In addition, the shop is constantly committed to protecting the environment, starting with the seasonal availability of flowers. Most of the flowers available in the shop are locally grown and support short supply chains. The icing on the cake: all deliveries are made by cargo tricycle or natural gas-powered vehicle. The shop is committed to pursuing eco-label certification to underscore its unwavering commitment to the environment.
Despite its heritage and tradition, Kammerer doesn’t hesitate to keep an eye on new trends. The store offers DIY workshops and subscription plans for individuals and businesses, allowing them to benefit from Anne-Laure’s expertise all year round. Finally, Esther and Anne-Laure plan to open up more of the store’s 550 m²—particularly the greenhouse—to host the public for festive events.
Fleurs Kammerer delivers its arrangements primarily to Strasbourg, Illkirch-Graffenstaden, and Ostwald. Whether you're at home, at the office, or in a nursing home, have your flowers delivered wherever you need them.
The store offers delivery every day of the week except Sunday. You can even get your order delivered within half a day—at the very latest!
