A Creative Florist in Ondres
It was in Ondres, in the southern part of the Landes region and just a few kilometers from the Basque Country, on the market square, that Céline opened Gaïa, a charming flower shop. After working as an employee, she wanted to create her own floral world and offer bouquets that reflect her personal style, for every budget.
Gaïa is, above all, a garden—a wonderful place to stroll and let your eyes wander among the plants until you find the one that catches your eye. In this bohemian, natural, and sunny setting, you’ll quickly find yourself captivated by the place.
An eco-friendly florist
Above all, Gaïa offers custom bouquets tailored to your preferences and budget—but you’ll always find Céline’s personal touch, with her style that’s both bohemian and chic. The shop also specializes in creating flower crowns!
If you’d like to learn the basics of floral art, Céline also offers in-store workshops. Take advantage of her advice and leave with a beautiful bouquet or floral arrangement you’ve created yourself! It’s sure to give you some ideas for bachelorette parties and birthdays…
In addition, Céline places special emphasis on celebrating nature: it’s no coincidence that her shop is called Gaïa (which means “earth” in ancient Greek)! That’s why she always prioritizes local sources whenever possible, so she can offer seasonal flowers that haven’t traveled as far.
A Few Care Tips from Gaïa
To keep your bouquets looking their best, Gaïa recommends placing them in water within 3/4 of an hour of purchase, then changing the water every 2/3 days and trimming the stems at the same time.
When it comes to plants, each one requires specific care and attention. Rest assured that Céline will give you all the tips you need to pamper your plant!
Finally, when it comes to dried flowers, be sure to store them in rooms with low humidity and avoid exposing them to direct sunlight.
