Pauline eventually took over the historic shop located in the hills of Meudon Bellevue, well known to all local flower lovers.
Rose et Chardon is a team of three florists who are as passionate as they are creative, combining a willingness to listen to their customers with a cheerful disposition—an explosive combination that shines through in the originality of their bouquets. There’s Olga, whose floral magic gives every bouquet a magical touch; Isa, whose skill enhances any flower; and finally, Pauline, who combines great gentleness with boundless imagination.
First, a few words about the shop’s atmosphere: Rose et Chardon, a historic flower shop in Meudon, stands out for its vintage decor with undeniable charm, featuring a magnificent wooden storefront, beautiful columns, and a large old-fashioned sink. The place exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere that invites you to lose yourself in daydreams among the flowers.
As for our house specialties, you’ll find a wide variety of rustic bouquets made with seasonal flowers, as well as a beautiful selection of dried flowers so you can enjoy your bouquets for years to come. Rose et Chardon strives to offer you as many locally grown flowers as possible, ensuring that all your bouquets are both creative and environmentally responsible. You’ll also find a wide range of handmade accessories crafted by local artisans to complement your home décor.
Finally, Pauline, Isa, and Olga welcome you to the store to share some of their expertise with you during one of their introductory floral art workshops. Come by the store to get their advice, and leave with a lovely bouquet or a beautiful floral wreath that you’ve arranged yourself.
There are two essential things to keep your flower bouquets looking their best for as long as possible. The first is water, as you might expect. That’s why it’s very important not to wait too long to put your bouquet in water after you buy it; after that, be sure to change the water in the vase about every two days. The second thing is love! Your flowers are living things that need attention to thrive.
And to extend the life of your bouquets by a few more days, you can also trim the stems when you change the water in the vase. Finally, avoid exposing your flowers to sources of excessive heat—so don’t place them next to a radiator!
